Profhilo Structura gently restores soft contours in the mid/lower face while delivering Profhilo’s signature benefits of hydration, elasticity, and firmness. Profhilo Structura is a next-generation HA injectable with a denser hybrid cooperative complex of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. Unlike classic Profhilo, it is designed for deeper injection into superficial fat layers, providing skin remodeling, subtle lift, and stimulation of superficial fat (without adding bulk or acting like a "filler").

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

To ensure the best results and minimize the risk of bruising or swelling, we recommend:

 

• Avoiding alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and herbal supplements like ginkgo or garlic for at least 48 hours prior. Avoid blood thinners with clearance from your prescriber. Avoid caffeine on the day prior to appointment.

• Staying well hydrated and keeping your skin moisturized.

• Arriving with clean skin free of makeup where possible.

• Ensure skin is free of active infections in the area

• Discuss any medical conditions with your clinician (you must be physically well for your appointment)

• If you’re prone to bruising, taking arnica tablets in the days before treatment may help.

 

 

What to Expect at My Appointment

 

• Consultation & Assessment: Tailored treatment plan based on your goals

• Preparation: Skin is cleansed; local anesthetic applied at the cannula entry site

• Treatment: Structura is placed via cannula for gentle, precise delivery. Only two insertion points.

• Complimentary LED therapy session

• Aftercare advice will be given

• Follow up: we will check in on you the following day & you will return for a review of results 4 weeks after your final treatment. You will be able to see a side by side photographic comparison of your progress.

 

 

Discomfort Levels

 

• Some pressure or movement under the skin rather than stinging

• Comfort options: local anaesthetic, vibration tool, stress ball, and music

 

 

Downtime & Aftercare

 

• Minimal; normal activities immediately. Avoid applying makeup for at least 12 hours and refrain from strenuous exercise, alcohol, and hot tubs for 24 hours post-treatment.  

• Mild swelling or bruising may result in 1-2 days of social downtime, though this is unlikely to be obvious 

 

 

Treatment Plan & Results

 

• Sessions required: Usually 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart (can be performed at the same time as Classic Profhilo for even more impressive results)

• When results appear: Gradual improvement; full results seen 4-6 weeks after second session
