SUNEKOS®

Sunekos is a regenerative injectable treatment that improves skin quality and overall health by stimulating collagen and elastin with a unique combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids

Sunekos especially well-suited for delicate areas like the under-eyes and forehead, where other treatments may not be suitable.

Why Choose Sunekos?

  • Improves fine lines, wrinkles, and crepey texture

  • Restores skin hydration, elasticity, and glow

  • Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production

  • Suitable for delicate or thin-skinned areas (under-eyes, forehead, neck)

  • Supports overall skin health for a fresher appearance

How It Works

Sunekos combines low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with a patented complex of six essential amino acids. This stimulates fibroblast activity, promoting the production of collagen types I, III, IV, and elastin. The result is improved skin architecture, hydration, and elasticity with visible smoothing of fine lines. Two different products are used: 1200 and Performa. 1200 + Performa are both injected at your first appointment and then Performa only at the second and third.

What is the Difference Between Sunekos Performa and Sunekos 1200?

Both are part of the Sunekos range, designed to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin production for skin regeneration. The difference lies in their strength and role within your treatment plan:

  • Sunekos 1200 – A more concentrated formula containing higher molecular weight hyaluronic acid plus the patented Sunekos amino acid complex. It provides strong “scaffolding” support to the skin, making it ideal for addressing deeper lines and laxity. It may also be particularly useful on areas like the neck, where greater collagen and elastin stimulation is required (e.g. in older patients).

  • Sunekos Performa – The newer generation Sunekos, designed to maintain and enhance results. It delivers hydration, elasticity, and radiance while smoothing fine lines and giving the skin a refreshed glow.

How are they used?

  • Initial treatment cycle: At your first appointment, everyone receives both Sunekos 1200 and Performa. This combination builds a strong foundation (with 1200) while also delivering hydration and radiance (with Performa). Your following sessions in the cycle then use Performa only.

  • Maintenance: For long-term results, your first maintenance session usually involves Performa only. Every second maintenance session we recommend including Sunekos 1200 again, to keep providing deeper structural support alongside the ongoing glow from Performa. For some patients, 1200 at every maintenance session can be beneficial.

How to Prepare for Treatment

To ensure the best results and minimize the risk of bruising or swelling, we recommend:

  • Avoiding alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and herbal supplements like ginkgo or garlic for at least 48 hours prior. Avoid blood thinners with clearance from your prescriber. Avoid caffeine on the day prior to appointment.

  • Staying well hydrated and keeping your skin moisturized.

  • Arriving with clean skin free of makeup where possible.

  • Ensure skin is free of active infections in the area

  • Discuss any medical conditions with your clinician (you must be physically well for your appointment)

  • If you’re prone to bruising, taking arnica tablets in the days before treatment may help.
